Grease

Today in class we learned more about the history of Greece. Specifically on the politics and leaders. We also went into a conversation about North Korea. Unfortunately, I left my notes at school, so I can't write about them. The Varsity Baseball team won 8-5 today. Two of my fellow teammates from JV were brought up to play in this game. The coaches on Varsity say I was almost brought up but I just wasn't seasoned enough to play and be trusted for an inning or more on Varsity. But they say i might be brought up later this year for some Bel Air tournament that they're playing in. I'm excited that I might get brought up this year. My dad is one of the Varsity assistant coaches. He actually played in the major leagues with the Detroit Tigers and the Kansas City Royals back in the 80's. He actually played with Bo Jackson. He also told me that he struck out Ken Griffey Jr. which I believe. He also says he as a lot of regrets because he didn't really give a good effort when he had a chance to be relevant on a Major League Baseball team.

This is the end of my post for today.

Attila and his soldiers destroyed 70 Roman cities and went on to destroy Constantinople but couldn't scale its walls to get in the city. Part B: The Roman army was in disarray. The hired mercenaries weren't loyal because of the little amount of money they were getting payed for fighting. This would make it hard for Rome to fend off its attackers which would lead t...

2-hour delay day

Today in Western Civilization we didn't really do much other than get a paper back and finish a worksheet we were supposed to finish because we had a 2-hour delay. So, I will also talk about some of my day after school. The worksheet we got back was homework and I got a 100% on it. Although, the homework was only 8 points. But a 100% is a 100%. We also finished a worksheet we did Tuesday where we were the judge of a case back in the time of Hammurabi's Code. Then, we found out what Hammurabi actually put as his punishment. A lot of them had to do with putting someone to death or cutting something off of their body like an ear or hand. We also took notes but we didn't have much time for that so I really didn't get anything down on paper. After school I had practice for baseball. First, we did a jog around both turf fields twice which I hated because I don't have good endurance. Other than that the team split into infield and outfield. I play in the infield. All w...

more studying

Today in Western Civ. we took more notes. Our test is tomorrow. I'm ready for it. It's not going to be hard. Only 50 questions. But, it's one of Mr. Schick's tests so it shouldn't be too hard. This is the end of my post for today.
