Today in Western Civ. my partner and I did our Ancient Greece presentation. It went ok, but it could've gone better. We had some technical difficulties with playing the videos and lost our momentum going into that part. We did the Olympics. It was fun to learn about it and film the stuff, but I'm glad it's over. Another group went and probably got somewhere between a 95 and a 100.

Lutheran- Member of a Protestant Church founded on the teachings of Martin Luther. Protestant-Member of a Christian Church founded on the principles of Reformation. Peace of Augsburg- An agreement declaring that the religion of each German state would be decided by its ruler. Annul- To put an end to or cancel. Anglican- Relating to the Church of England. 3. Political- 1. Monarchs challenged the Church as the supreme power in Europe. 2. Many leaders saw the Pope as a foreign leader and challenged his authority. Economic- 1. European Princes and Kings were jealous of the Church's wealth. 2. Merchants and others resented having to pay taxes to the Church. Social- 1. The Renaissance values of humanism and secularism. 2.
